Recorded live and mixed by Spooky Tavi at Non Plus Ultra in May 2023, this fresh batch of songs has a loose yet together sound like a band that has been playing together for years, and they have! In case you didn’t know - Wam Dingis is the band/performance art experience brought to you from the minds of Jordan Avila, Darren Cochran and Angela Vasquez. Many have played in Wam Dingis thru the years including Mindy Song, Paul Doyle, Ashi Dala and Spooky Tavi. Wam Dingis is a state of mind, it’s not that hard.

In this new batch of songs vocalist Jordan takes a deeper dive into their lyrical comedic philosophy on “Home” singing about dreams of Hawaii and his regret of having an imaginary child. But the only child here is Jordan’s inner child that roams free and wild on “Hunger”. The end of “Hunger” turned into an extended jam when the band played it live and they overdubbed some extra percussion over the transition segment. You can actually hear a glass bottle shattering during the take if you listen close.
