  Recorded over the course of a year in his bedroom at Non Plus Ultra - a warehouse venue/nonprofit Boe co-founded to live and throw DIY shows in – Cop Wife Waitress transmutes fourteen blues, jazz and folk standards into ragged, Lynchian future-pop. “It took a lot of the pressure off that I usually put on myself because there was no anxiety about if the songs were any good. I just had to do them justice. I picked songs that were both foundational to modern music yet timeless; that feel like they could have been written now or ten years from now."
  
  With production help from psych-rock visionary Lionel Williams (Vinyl Williams) and guest appearances by Ashi Dala & Spooky Tavi (HOTT MT), Gal Lazer (Yonatan Gat) and Grant Cabezadevaca (The Cosmonauts), the result is anything but retrograde.
